Dr. Aaron Mancuso, O.D
Aaron Mancuso, O.D. was raised in Las Vegas Nevada. He Graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas completing his Pre-Professional curriculum with an Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Biology emphasis. He attended Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) and was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science, followed by his Doctorate of Optometry in 1986. While at SCCO, he completed externships at the Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic, Las Vegas, as well as Omni Eye Centers, Phoenix Arizona, with an emphasis in Ocular Disease. He then completed a residency program at the Portland, Oregon VA Medical Center in 1987 in Hospital Based Optometry. From 1988 to 1999, He was Facility Director and Co-Director of Education at Southwest Vision Services, Las Vegas, Nevada. He then accepted a position as Executive Director at TLC Laser Eye Centers, Las Vegas. In 2004, he opened a private practice in Henderson, Nevada, on Horizon Ridge Pkway, with a colleague, and joined the Clearvision Eye Centers, a group of premium eye care practices in Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City at that time. In the upcoming years, other practices were added. He remained at Clearvision Eye Centers until March, 2024. He is now actively practicing at Shepherd Eye Center.

He is past Adjunct Assistant Professor for SCCO as well as the University of Houston College of Optometry. He holds numerous rewards, including the Optometric Recognition Award, which is awarded to those who excel in continuing education requirements. He is also past President and was on the Board of Directors of the Great Western Council of Optometry (GWCO). He also served on the Education committee, as well as being the Nevada Representative. Dr. Mancuso has participated on the national lecture circuit, lecturing in the areas of Ocular Pharmacology, Ocular Disease, in addition to Refractive Surgery. In addition to Nevada, Dr. Mancuso holds licenses to practice Optometry in California, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Dr. Mancuso is Board Certified to treat and manage glaucoma in the state of Nevada.

Outside of Optometry, Dr. Mancuso is married to Shonie Mancuso, and are parents to
Son, Dante, and daughter, Siena Mancuso. Dr. Mancuso enjoys supporting UNLV Rebel Basketball, playing Jazz guitar, as well as driving and showcasing his 1956 Coupe De Ville. He is also an avid Golden Retriever enthusiast, with his newest member, “Vinny.”
